We have only seen her as Deanna, which can be an annoying character, but the actress has the look. I live out in Agawam, but grew up in Lowell (still have family there). There are actually quite a few fans in the Boston area. In Jan. I went to an FK party in Brookline (had never met any of the people before, but it was fun). I noticed that you're also a Highlander fan. Maybe we could work out some sort of tape trade. I have all episodes of FK on tape (American as well as Canadian for the 1st season eps) but I'm missing most of seasons 3 and 4 for Highlander. Might you have those on tape? I know I could continue taping from USA, but would much prefer to just get the tapes and be done with it. Let me know... Gail aka Urs (well, the BOTTLE says I'm blonde...) P/S BTW, are you aware that there's an FK chat room on the IRC? It's called #ForeverKnight. I've met alot of fans there - even a couple from MA. While I agree that the actress/character in question is TNG's best hope for a proper Janette, her name is pronounced "Kay-lar"! "Kah-less" is... you don't even want to know! And she was *never* married to Worf. He proposed; she refused; Alexander was born... and she was murdered. And kudos to whomever said Barclay could play Screed... <g> ***** Amy R. r......@w....... You are... joking, right? Nick wouldn't have anything more than a big-brotherly relationship with Tracy if she was the last female on the planet... But I suppose you could be referring to the necessity of having *someone* at work aware of his condition. It's a moot point now, but -- and I *am* kidding -- just imagine... And Lacroix was DAMN good at it, too! I just saw this ep (Close Call) for the first time this past weekend. WOW! He seemed so very charming and pleasant, but he never answered a question directly. He just responded to every question with another question, guiding Schanke skillfully toward the answers he wanted him to find. No psychiatrist could have done better. This character just leaves me in awe sometimes (as does Nigel's portrayal). And didn't you love how he backed Nick and Janette away from the window with just a hint of a snarl? To me, this season's most impressive example of LaCroix's hypnotism is in Sons of Belial. LaCroix manages to make a man who is intimately familiar with demons, devils, and denizens of the night forget that he just saw two vampires in full fang, as it were. If anyone were going to be a resistor, it would be this dude, but LaCroix just holds up that imposing hand (in a gesture that is absurdly similar to the sign for "I love you" in ASL) and puts on the whammy. And the guy buys it. Y'all know Nick never could have done that. I guess age does have its advantages. Unless he's broadcasting just to the caddy <g> I assume that the Nightcrawler has a regular audience... maybe even a little listserve group for discussing those words of wicked wisdom... LC might read digests of it as NB does on fkspoilr... and, considering Dianne's delightful "Vice Versa," Tippi's terribly satisfying "Eternal Champion" and Jamie's plug for _Number of the Beast_, our relation to those fans would be...? :) Staggers the imagination (well, mine at least, but then, it's Friday and I've used up my brain-cell allotment for the week...)! ***** Amy R. r......@w.......
