I also thought of Sean Bean for Nick. He did a convincing hero in
Sharpe's Rifles, and has been cast as a villain in movies, which shows that
he has the range to show Nick's good and bad sides. He's goodlooking and
athletic and I suspect he can do accents. Second choice: David Caruso.
LaCroix: Sam Neill (Riley in Riley: Ace of Spies, a series about the real
spy who was the model for James Bond, and King Charles in Restoration). A
brilliant, classy actor who can be sexy, warm, hard, ruthless, sophisticated
and is able to convey depths of intelligence and cunning with subtlety.
Deborah Duchene owns the part of Janette. If anyone else attempted it,
she would have to do a completely different interpretation.

Actually, I have seen a commercial for FK on the Sci Fi channel. It was what
got me interested in watching the show. (Previously I had a similar response
to FK that I did to the original Star Trek: "It sounds like some dumb show
like Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea".) After seeing the commercial on SFC I
tuned in just in time for "My Boyfriend is a Vampire".

SOMEBODY wants this show very much dead! I normally don't
subscribe to conspiracies, but SOMEBODY is doing everything in their
considerable power to make sure that Forever Knight dies and is never heard
from again!! It will become one of those nostalgia show questions on the
<alt.tv.sci-fi news group, i.e. "Does anyone remember a show called Forever
Knight?"
"Furthering the invisibility" indeed...very well put, Mr.
Mollin! If one were to list the ways to kill a show, hiring Forever
Knight's Public Relations firm would be Number 1!!!!!
I know TJ of CyberSpace Vanguard Magazine said that USA
sponsored a major PR push in the beginning of the season; however, *I*
didn't see it, you didn't see it, and other fans didn't see it. I'm not in
the entertainment field, but I do understand that the building of
anticipation, the word of mouth front on a show, the judicious placement of
trailers and/or teasers for an upcoming premiere, begins *months* in
advance; it doesn't wait until the show is airing to start publicity! As TJ
stated, articles and deadlines are months in advance; looking for interviews
for one's stars n October is just a wee bit off the mark, don't you think?
Just think about "The Kindred". Speculation has been going around since
hmmmmmmm.........October.........an Aaron Spelling production with major
bucks......since October.........October........a show that went into
production in the summer of 1995.....................am I off the wall here?
Perhaps NOBODY actually wants the show to disappear. Perhaps
somebody wants the results of a failed campaign to disappear so as not to
impinge on career opportunities?

Hi, everyone,
Well, I'm rather pleased! My letter to the editor got published
today in the Worcester Massachusetts _Telegram & Gazette_. You may
remember a couple of weeks ago I wrote that the local television columnist,
to whom I had sent all our press releases, had written a column in which
he talked about how letter writing campaigns don't really work any
more, and mentioned some of our more original strategies as if they
had become the norm and everyone was doing them.
My response, published in this morning's paper, pointed out
that such strategies as the full page ad in EM and our NATPE presence
were innovations. I mentioned that we believe the ratings system
doesn't work, and that we're supported in this by articles in major
trade journals. Finally, I highlighted some of our strategies (blood
drives, sponsor products to homeless shelters, PAF donations) in
which we have tried to do good. The hardest part was fitting
everything I wanted to say into 250 words or less!!!!
If anyone wants to see my original, deathless prose <vvvbg> I
could put the whole thing on the list tonight. But only if you're
interested

All I want to add is a quote from Yoda "Always in motion is the future"
If we continue we just may get a movie down the road somewhere. What
really is amazing to me is the number of fans, the dedication of fans and
the lengths they have been willing to go to in the SOS cause. What a
group of creative, interesting and motivated people "Forever Knight" has
attracted. I'm proud to be just a very small part of it. The show that
has risen from the dead before I believe will do so again. Perhaps not
right away but if we stay the course I think there is a "movie" or
something in the future.
And my sincere Congratualtions to Nigel, of course!

Yup, for all of the times I hated the dreaded Me Too posts, I have to make one,
sigh... If there is any kind souls on the list making copies of AirWolf, would
you be able to get in touch with me at 'jack@wildbear.on.ca' regarding getting
copies made for me?
Also, does anyone in the Toronto know what is happening? CFTO/CFPL/CKNX
have shifted FK out of the lineup for a new cop show, with Nowhere Man taking
the 10pm slot. But WKBW (7 Buffalo) did not have it this past weekend.

Help, I live in Melbourne, FL and usually receive fk at 1 a.m. on FOX
channel 35 early Sunday/Monday morning. It wasn't there and I don't see it
listed in the tv guide at all except for a rerun at 1 a.m. Thurday/Friday on
USA. Can anyone tell me what's going on? Have we lost it for good? Tell
me it isn't so.

Sorry to waste the bandwidth...
Usually I come in on Monday morning's to about 100+ messages from
FORKNI-L Digests and FKFIC-L's stories, but have received nothing
yet today (Monday 3/4). If someone is getting their mail, could you
please send me a note, so I can then make sure I wasn't accidentally
deleted from the list! I feel so lost without the mail to wade
through! I haven't even received anything from the DEBSPLAY list!

I remember posting this about a week ago to which a few people replied.
I guess the way to answer this is to rephrase the question as Matthew
Funke suggested. "How old was LC when he was brought across?" I wonder if
this topic will be discussed in the upcoming ep "Ashes to Ashes". I
think maybe he is about 38 so in 64 AD he would be 23 years old. I think
that it could be possible, as some people have suggested but I wondered
what some listmembers thought his age would be. I know some people
explained that the line, from Dark Knight, was offered as a clue to LC's
past in first season. The writers themselves hadn't figured out what they
would write for the character of LC. I wasn't on-line for first seasson
but have been watching FK since CBS. This is why I don't know if this was
discussed or not. I just wonderd people's thoughts on his age. I guess
it's my fault for not asking the question as I wanted <guilt mode on>.
If it is a screw up it really isn't that obvious therefore not that
important to me but I'm curious just for the hell of it.

eyes. Loves chatting, hanging out on book shelves and pooping on

lay on the windowsill!)
I live in a four-bedroom house on the slopes of Haleakala,
on Maui. ...If you'd like to lay on the couch and share
my view of birds, cars, etc. that stretches from the mountain down to
the ocean.... you could be my dream feline. E--mail me at my cat-owned one's
address..
Ooops...here comes Sandy....hope I can get the tell-tale fur out of
the keyboard. (What am I worried about; I usually lay on it when
she's not looking, anyway.) Before I go....I think you humans should
put together a calendar for us....the felines of the Forever Knight
lists....
And I have a few of *my* own contrbutions to the not-so-dream casting of that
show all you humans seem to like....(If you don't like my choices--tough
friskies...I'm a *cat* so you can't get me. )
