Your a Cousin and you don't know what CERK is?!?!? Ew, bad, bad,

CERK, for all the Cousins-in-training <g> out there, is the radio
station that Uncle's Nightcrawler show is broadcast on. This is
required knowledge <g> and every monologue must be memorized and
excessively praised at every appropriate possibility and some not
so appropriate ones as well <VBG> (Wouldn't be Cousinly if we stuck
to just the appropriate times :)) Failing to do so may result in
an angry Uncle (and you all know how . . . ummmmmm . . . well, I

Yup, and we also don't have to have a reason or an excuse or a

Another thought on why Vampires prefer human blood -

It may simply be a matter of taste. Different bloods apparently taste
differently (Janette's 'What is this? Cow?'), and there might be
disciminating vampires (LaCroix's wine references when he brings Nick a
bottle of human blood) who only drink the finest, and vampire "bums" (Screed,
i.e.) who grab anything that can't get away fast enough.

In the world of wine drinking, there are connoisseurs and there are
drunks. It may be the same with blood drinkers.

Hi guys,
With all this talk about whether Nat should be with Nick or LC, I just
thought I'd add my two cents. I'm not a Nick&Natpacker or a Valentine. I'm
simply a Natpacker who believes Nat should be a vamp. generally. All I
want is for Nat to be happy. And while I know she'll undoubtedly spend
some time with both men once she's a vamp, I don't think it will be
healthy for her to rely on either one or both for that happiness. Let's
face it. One's neurotic. One's psychotic. And Nat's got her own emotional
problems to boot. Apart from spending a few centuries just contemplating
her own needs for a change and finding a vamp shrink in the community who
can help her break the cycle of codependence, Nat needs to find a nice
functional male vamp to offset Nick and LC. My vote is for Aristotle. From
what little we've seen, he strikes me as a nice, resonably balanced man
who takes pride in a job he does well. He's earned the respect of the
Community and understands the importance of client confidentiality. In
fact, one might say he's a lot like Schanke. And also like Schanke,
Aristotle knows that there are occassions when one may have bend the rules
for a friend. Natalie needs a vamp in her life who is comfortable in his
skin the way Schanke was. Someone who will give her the room to breathe,
laugh, cry, and be who she is as a woman and as a vampire. If someone
helped her get rid of some of the preconceived notions she has of herself,
then maybe in the long run, she and Nick can dump the preconcieved notions
they have of each other. Just my .02.

I have the Microsoft Scenes Screen Saver on my computer and you can add
your own picture sets. I downloaded pictures from the ftp site and
converted them to BMP's and added them to the Scenes program. It's
easy. If I can do it, anybody can. I bought the Microsoft program from

Subject: Save campaign and Telemuenchen

After I read the news about the negotiations between Tristar and a
mysteriuos "third party", I called the german Co-producer "Telemuenchen". A
very very friendly guy (Mr. Schloeterer) talked to me and answered patently
my questions. They are very satisfied with FK, they would like to produce
more seasons, and the idea of cancellation never came up to their minds
until the decision of Tristar. He told me, that "Telemuenchen" can't do
anymore, because compared with Tristar, they put much less money to the
show; he gave me the advice to contact Tristar... Hm, sound familiar. He
didn't know anything about a new Co-producer and mentioned, that it SEEMS to
him, that the party is over.
I wished I could write some more encouraging news to the list.
What keeps me alive, is the fact, that he didn't said 'it's definitivly
over', but 'if I wished to do something for FK, I should ask TriStar'...
Which means...? Any suggestions?
To prevent a personal really deep crisis, I decided to interprete his
remarks in a positiv way and to cling to his warm voice, advising me to do
something for the show. So I will continue this weekend what I did every
weekend since end of december: write polite, positiv, flattered letters -
even to Mr. Feltheimer.
BTW, I'm afraid I didn't understand yet, what going on. If their is a "third
party", why Tristar make the decisions and not Paragon? Why don't Paragon
look for another Co-Producer and another market? I now know, that FK runs
successful in Germany and in Great Britain (due to favourable timeslots),
that means, that a market is existing.

Hello Gentle List Members,

I am posting for two reasons...

1) To announce my belief that I may now lose the Newbie tag in that I have
   A)Written two pieces of fanfic
B)Contacted my local sindie about FK
C)Written all obligatory letters to TPTB
   D)Brought someone across
   E)Joined the fan club set
   F)Contributed to the SOS cause

2)Since I have written some fanfic, for which I have received very kind and
generous praise (THANK YOU), I need a favor...

I have seen every ep except #'s 301-306. I came across just after the airing
of MBiaV. May I ask some kind soul to share these six eps with me? Further
fanfic really demands a thorough background knowledge and it seems that there
was some significant stuff in these six eps. If you can help please let me
know. As always, I will reimburse for all tapes, postage, effort, etc. etc.

Thank You,
One and all. This list and it's siblings are true joys to be a part of.

Carrie,
A Proud Knightie

Katya, and any other confused listmember:

TriStar *owns* Forever Knight (I got this from Parriott himself, long ago).
They have the rights to all the logos, film, etc, etc, etc. They can decide
to sell it, to make it, to lock it away forever. It's theirs, legally
speaking. Period.

Paragon is just the company that *makes* it. Think of TriStar as the bakery,
and Paragon as the baker. If the bakery won't let the baker in, it doesn't
matter how much he wants to make bread-- there won't be any.

Wow Raissa, I may end up faction-hopping after all. I have to agree
though. I want Nat to be a vampire, that way she and Nick can get
together and she can get him out of her system and then she can move on
to a less unhealthy relationship...and the thought of LC and Nat has
*always* been appealing (to me, that is).

The Nat Vamp Camp, huh? Can't argue the credo....and what better way for
Nat to have her cake and eat it too?

Subject: Quote limit

First of all, welcome to all the new listmembers. Please, don't anyone
take this for a flame, but Forkni-l and Fkspoilr both have *strict*
limits on quoting previous posts. You're allowed four lines per point
answereed.

This is standard netiquette, btw. Here's why:

1. Some people have limited mailbox space.

2. Some people have to pay by the line count in each message.

3. People on digest have to page past the repeated post if they want
to read the rest of the digest. We have *a lot* of people on digest.

4. Most important: we're only at Penn State, which is where psuvm is,
by their permission. There's a disk there that stores all the posts of
the day for the digest. When this disk gets full, it must be manually
cleared by the sysops. In the meantime, the list is held and nobody
gets mail from it. There've already been two scares when Penn State
considered dropping all the non-academic lists. It's much better for
us if we don't make extra work for them by filling up the disks with
full quotes.

sounds like a line from the show.

Fanfic, anyone?

Ok, so the paper crane cursade is now official? If so, we need to get the word
out (maybe getting 2 mobils will REALLY get Sony's attention). And we need to
decide on a place to send them: I voulunteer, newbie that I am. If we can really
get this done, it'll be soo cool.

Also, another note: Use small paper (I use 7.5cm paper). If you use the full
size stuff, the mobil is going to be sickeningly big.

this, but RIGHT NOW on NBC there is a movie on with Nigel in it, it's
called 87th Precint: ICE. I have no idea how big a part his is, I just
saw his name in the credits, and he hasn't been shown so far.

Hey! Right now as I type (8:00 pm MST) ICE is airing on NBC, and Nigel
Bennett is co-starring and I just caught Urs as a showgirl friend of the
murder victim's.

And YKYBWTMFK... when you recognize Kristen what's-her-name (Urs) by her
voice, for godsake--she's wearing a dark bobbed wig and standing in the
shadows and I still knew it was her. Yeesh.

How did we manage to miss this? Or has it already been discussed and I just
didn't notice the posts?

get to show off his class or style at all (I'm not even a cousin and
