This weeks TV Guide says that Tuesday night at 9:00pm USA will air Fever.
Am I wrong...I hope not, that's the only way my sister in California will
be able to see it. Unless I part with my tape...withdrawls...I love my
sister, but that is *way* too much to ask.

The original poster (sorry, but I've forgotten who) only mentioned
LC and GWD. I was just questioning whether it should have read LC and
Nick. And, given the choice of those two, I consider Nick sexier. :)

I don't find Vachon particularly sexy myself, but hey, some people do.
I certainly wasn't intending to slight Vachon, just responding to the
choices as posted.

Can you post his e-mail address? I'll write him a letter too, but e-mail
is a good start.

Well, since it would appear that KK and RP at USA have voluntarily
parted with their brains (after all, what other explaination is there?)
the least *we* could do is part with slightly less vitale parts
<g>...after all, it is *such* a worthy cause.

First, Marcia didn't mention "out-of-body" travel in her response.
Second, *where* in the series has it *ever* been indicated that vampires
fly from one end of a country to the other. Third, "any telekinetic
in the world" would be different in one important aspect--that person
would be a *human* rather than a *vampire*.

I happen to agree with Marcia that vampire flight can be the result of
increased mental abilities that result in something similar to either
levitation or telekinesis. The "change" is apparently genetic (as
evidenced by The Fix and Nat's discovery of "extra nucleotides").
Since we don't use that much of our brains normally, who's to say that
FK vampirism doesn't allow the person brought over to express qualities
of brain functioning that we as humans don't normally know how to use.
The act of being brought over may just open more pathways to previously
unused portions of the brain or something.

I guess this is the kind of response you can expect from someone who
has an interest in science fiction as well as horror. :)

Oh, and the "fear" of religious items could also be explained as either
the vampire's sensitivity to the psychic impressions of a person's
(or people's) faith into a religious object or the flip side of a
more powerful brain (fears become real; because the vampire fears
being affected by a religious object, he *is*).

Such increased brain functioning could also explain the other "special"
abilities that FK vampires have.

Subject: Web Page Redesign

I've just finished a redesign of the SFK page (guess who finally learned how
to use anchors?<g>) and I'd love it if people would go and check it out, tell
me if there are any problems.

There's a cool new gif/logo for the Friends of Forever Knight (took the
liberty, hope no one minds) and a quick index for specific sections.

But I really do need a write-up of NATPE; and I'd love a sub-page that shows
the results so far of our charity & blood drives, to add emphasis to both of
these items. Any volunteers? <g>

We're at hit #9737 now...

What, you don't have the url memorized?

Um...but should we just be writing to USA? They could still decide
they don't want to have anything more to do with FK. Not saying that
we shouldn't write them, but it sounds to me from the EM article that
some outside funding is still a necessity to TriStar to do a fourth
season. Don't you think we should be trying to interest some other
investors in supporting the show in case USA doesn't want to invest
in it?

Hi fellow list members,

I need you guys to help me out here. I am putting together a Vaquero
FAQ and need some info from you all. Think back to the time before I
was the lone Vaquera when we were having the debate on the good points
or lack of good points of the new character Vachon. I need the names of
the people who coined the phrases " cowsie" and " Vaquero". I can;t
believe I don't remember this stuff. Send along any other fun info you
can remember about the dark ages of the vaqueros. Thanks for your help
in advance.
