We interrupt this SOS campaign for the following annoucment (which I don't think has been mentioned yet).... I was just channel surfing after X-Files and watched the VERY LONG ad on HBO for "The Late Shift" ( the movie about the fight between Leno and Letterman to host the Tonight Show) and John Kapelos <*sniff* I STILL miss Schanke> is in it as one of Dave's guys...I don't know which but like one of Dave's right hand guys. There are two ads for the show and John is in both. When I saw the shorter one, I was sure I was hallucinating due to show cancellation stress related syndrome (SCSRS) but then I saw him laugh and I *knew* that it was indeed JK. In the longer one, you get a much clearer shot of him walking with the "faux" Dave along a busy New York sidewalk in a rather fetching overcoat. Anyway, the movie starts in a couple of weeks I believe. I'll check on the dates and post them when I find out. we now return you to our regularly scheduled SOS campaign Cousin Deborah *Never* let your conscience be your guide menikoff@p....... http://www.cup.org/people/homepages/djm/page.html ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 5 Jan 1996 22:38:02 -0500 From: "<Felicia Bollin>" <AriCon@a.......> Subject: Re: EM AD: suggestion LCF writes: >Vicky Bratton suggested the following, which sounds pretty >good to me. Gillian Horvath's day job is with Highlander, but she moonlights as a script writer for FK. (Blackwing and Fever are two of her eps) The day before JP dropped the Big Bomb, she was on an AOL chat, and had just gotten approval for one of her scripts from JP. Now, she's apparently been told her script will be needed after all this season, so she's back to working on it. I take it as a good sign. With the huge amount of time she puts in for HL, she wouldn't be finishing up the FK script if it weren't going to go through. (Disclaimer: I'm not claiming huge inside sources or anything. I've just bumped into her online several times) Jill Marie jilkey@u....... ------------------------------ End of FORKNI-L Digest - 5 Jan 1996 - Special issue ***************************************************
